Chère Sharon, C'est incontournable, devant un tel arbre, on ne peut que penser aux ancêtres qui sont venus,ici, protéger leurs amours. Tous ces arbres bicentenaires, sont porteurs de tant de secrets que leurs feuilles en frémissent d'émotion à chaque souffle du vent. Ta photo est magnifique et avec le jeu des couleurs, la filtration du soleil au travers des frondaisons, on ne sait plus dans quel monde ce trouve ce grand arbre. J'irai m^me jusqu'à dire que cette photo évoque aussi pour moi, un monde sous-marin , peuplé de gorgones géantes Plus jeune, j'aurai escaladé ces branches pour y bâtir une cabane avec les copains. C'est vrai, les arbres me font rêver. Je crois pouvoir dire que celui-ci t'a inspiré pour notre plus grand plaisir.

Je vois et je crois que l'esprit de ceux jeune gorgones géantes et plus. Et comment parfaite! Quand il est très calme sous cet arbre, on peut entendre l'océan tout près. Vous ne saviez pas cela, mais je sens une certaine façon grandiose qui vous l'avez senti!
Pour moi, cet arbre évoque toujours la danse de la vie - sous toutes ses formes. Je l'ai vu dans tous les temps. Je suis arrivé en tant que pèlerin cherche toujours à comprendre ce que la sagesse. Il peut être doux ou féroce. Il peut rire ou pleurer. Il dit toujours la vérité. Il a été depuis mon enfance, un véritable ami.

Yes, finally spring has sprung! Always a joyous moment for me, to once again sit under this amazing beech in its shadows and light and to hear the beautiful song of it new leaves in a gentle breeze. It really is one of my favorite things on this planet. And I always realize how wonderful it is that we have both survived another winter.
I have NO IDEA how old this tree is. It was huge when I was a child. What you see in this photo is a small part of this tree. I believe it is ancient and I can say without a doubt that it is very wise!

Hello Roxana! Yes, I've known this tree since I was a child. It grows in a town near what was my family's favorite vacation place - so it had this amazing presence in my youth. It became mythic. How was The Tree doing? Was it warm enough? Did it survive the big storms? Would it be waiting for us?
It grows in a courtyard in a public place. Playing there was not allowed. But they couldn't stop the contemplating, wondering and dreaming. It demanded a certain silent worship and it had many pilgrims.

What a beautiful, old, twisty, tree. I love the way beech tree leaves flutter in the breeze.
